Russia to help Iran build own satellite observation systems
Two Russian space companies have signed a cooperation agreement with an Iranian corporation, clearing the way for the creation of an Iranian satellite observation system.
According to the signed agreement, Russian companies will help Iran to create its own remote-sensing system which is used for gathering information about the Earth's surface, atmosphere and oceans.

MOSCOW, Aug. 26 (MNA) – During the meeting between Iran VP for Science and Technology and Russian minister of industry and trade, the two sides inked 10 initial cooperation agreements in Moscow.
“Iran and Russia both lay emphasis on a comprehensive development of relations especially in the field of aviation and industrial centers,” said Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov while meeting Iran’s Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari in Moscow.
While calling on Iranian investors for closer participation in Russia’s economic projects especially in the field of infrastructure, the Russian minister added that the two countries have signed an initial cooperation agreement for engineering development programs, industrial parks and centers, as well as joint production of aircraft.

Nearly 40 Iranian companies will present a wide range of products in several fields, including satellites, satellite carriers, mockup and prototypes of several airplanes and helicopters, a domestic-made navigation system as well as engines and parts for civil aviation, he pointed out.
The XII International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2015 will start on Tuesday in the Russian city of Zhukovsky with over 400,000 people expected to attend the venue during the six-day event. About 760 companies from 35 countries, are expected to participate in the air show.

Iran, Russia to Join Hands to Build Fighter Jets
Iran and Russia will cooperate in the “joint designing and manufacturing” of combat aircraft, the Islamic Republic’s defense minister announced on Saturday.
Briefing reporters in Tehran, Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan said Russia had agreed to cooperate with Iran after learning about the Islamic Republic’s capabilities, Tasnim news agency reported.
“In the field of (manufacturing) fighter jets, we will not develop such cooperation with any country other than Russia,” General Dehghan emphasized.
The minister said Tehran has military ties with 35 countries including China, Iraq, Russia, Oman, India, Pakistan and Belarus, in different fields, such as technical expertise and engineering, maintenance, and the sale of military systems and weapons.

Russische Kooperationen solcher Art gibt es bereit mit China und Indien im Flugzeugbau. Im Falle Indiens auch gemeinsame Entwicklungen. Es ist interessant, was jetzt alles möglich ist, wenn der Westen am Horizont des südlichen Kaspischen Meeres auftaucht. Diese Kooperationen in der Luft-und Raumfahrt gehen über Jahre und ermöglichen langjährige Kooperationen, mit denen Moskau einen Fuß in einem wichtigen Markt behalten will. Und somit auch politisch mitmischen kann. Dasselbe gilt für die nukleare Kooperation.
